This incredible technology knows the night sky right out of the box. Turn it on, and after a brief alignment procedure, your telescope is ready to take you to any object in its over 30000 object library or take you on a guided tour of the heavens. The StarNavigator 102 mm refracting telescope features a lens diameter of 102 mm (4") for bright, high contrast images and a focal length of 800 mm; focal ratio f/7.7.

Standard equipment on this portable but high quality instrument includes the Meade AudioStar computer keypad with over 30000 object library, over 500 audio presentation files on various objects. The solidly built metal construction mount features advanced electronics to make alignment easy, including an internal clock, while the full size and adjustable height aluminum tripod allows comfortable viewing from a seated or standing position. The mount is conveniently powered from the included internal battery pack which holds eight (user supplied) "AA" batteries.

The generous light gathering ability of this scope combined with the enhanced electronics package means this may be all the telescope the casual observer might ever need or require. This 4" diameter refracting telescope is well suited for a home with a view, nature watching, or other terrestrial applications. This specialty diagonal results in a non-inverted (upright and correct left to right image) image which is highly desirable for many daytime applications.
